i hope no one here has lost their home and everyone gets to go on with their lives soon.i also hope the fire doesnt spoil the first big trip of the season for anyone including myself.lets keep our fingers crossed we can get that fire under control quickly. >:< . even for you people that dont have a house in jeopardy,you better hope they keep the fire away from hi.8. or you MAY not be going either.

According to Caltrans the 8 is still open.

heard the smoke is pushing it's way out to the desert area. The fire effected a couple houses on my street but not mine except for a couple of trees and some grass. My trip this weekend is going to be cancelled but I'm making plans for the following week!

I THINK ILL GIVE MY COUSIN A CALL AND SEE HOW THE WATHER IS DOWN THERE SINCE HE LIVES IN EL CENTRO.
