I have heard you need to enlarge some holes inside the transmission for the pump to work. Is that correct?

What is everyone using to have the pump and cooler cycle on and off? I have gone through two of these and they have only lasted a short time.

This is what I have been using except with a NPT sending unit instead of the proble.

Derale Deluxe Adjustable Fan Controllers with Radiator Probes
The right part for the right job.

Derale deluxe adjustable fan controllers with radiator probes have probe sensors that fit in the fins of the radiator. They adjust fan activation between 150 and 240 degrees F. They are suitable for racing as well as towing applications.

Guess these must not be the right type of questions.

Ricky, This is Vinnie, I have the Blown small block in the Dunntech Midengine. I was wondering if you remembered what my fourth gear ratio was. My GPS hit 143 MPH last weekend and we were wondering if the 4th gear ratio with my HP alow such a number. It felt really fast, and the pleminary calculations look like its very possible, but I wanted your opinion, and the actual 4th gear ratio for my S4s. I know your busy, and probably out enjoying the new ride, so get back to me when it convienant. Thanks

On all the transmissions i build i do some modifing of the oil holes inside whether its running a pump or not.I have heard alot of people having problems with those i recomend that you just put it on a regular toggle switch.

I did a gear ratio calculator online, and with a 4.63 R&P (which Vinnie says he has), and a 1.12 4th and 33" tires, 7600RPM is 142MPH! He said he was close to redline (8000), and did not know for sure how close. It appers to be possible, huh?!

i will start off by saying i don't know much about transaxles. that being said, i bought a 2 seater sandrail with a Acura 3.2L V6, i think it has around 200 hp, and blew second gear while attempting to go up olds. the tranny is a 002 and i was told that it was a "built" tranny with weddle gears 1st-4th and one season on it. i live in san diego and i hear that you are the man in so cal. i am trying to figure out my best option, rebuild the 002 that i have or look into going to a 091. What would it run me to have my 002 rebuilt versus purchasing a 091?
thanks for your help, i appreciate your time!
yummi
Another question- simple. Can a 091 really work with a four seat car? Seems to be some four seaters out there with that box? Seems like too much weight for a 091.
