On a 3 wheelr(watercooled 250r) if i want to go to an hid what has to be done to the stator?I know i need to add a small 12volt batt but i read something you have to move a wire on the stator.Will be a single light and i know the stator is capable of the power since its only 35 watt light.
right now i am using a 60 watt bulb but would like more lighting

I was going to do the same thing. Was told the stator has to be rewound for a floating ground.
You can always run a total loss system. That light will work all weekend without a charge from to the battery.
