I heard that someone on this board has this setup. I am interested to know more about it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks... 25cheers.gif

I have a third seat... Here is the post: http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index....=121688&hl=

From the looks of it the top of the seat is close to the top of the cage. In reality my little girls head is far from reaching the top of the seat. Also this is a shortened cage, so if height was an issue the cage caould always be made taller...

I don't think you would be happy with this set-up. I've had our rzr to the sand twice and about 250 miles off-road and the added extra weight especially up high would really hurt the performance. I have not found a bench seat- size wise (aftermarket) yet that would replace the bucket seats.Would have to fab one up.Moving the shifter is easy since its cable active and I never use the cup holders. It's dead space anyway. For a child it would be the best option. You would still get the fun out of it riding solo or tandem.

That sounds like a good option...

I just want the kids to be able to use it for cursing around and such. It doesn't have to be the best off-raoding vehicle, if you know what i mean...

I don't have any more pictures at this time... It works really well. And yes I have added some weight but honestly not much more than I would have if i had built a race cage. And there is NO way on the planet I would have left the stock cage on it... That Shiat is made out of the same material my patio furniture is made out of! Serious JUNK.

With my 35 lbs daughter in the back it does not seem to affect the handling, then again I am not really going to nuts with her in the back... She loves having her own seat too...

I can not see having more than one seat in the back. It was tough to get this one in. The seat is mounted to the frame and the cage is mounted to the frame down near the suspension mounting. Foot room is at a premium with this setup, I would not recomend this for a child over 5 for sure...

I installed a PRP Preemie seat, which incidentally matches near perfect to the factory seats...

I forgot your kids are older than mine. Don't cut yourself short - Remember buggy goes down 259mm.gif what are you going to ride. With paddles there wasn't a hill I couldn't run at Dumont.

IF you are a smaller guy and your wife is small too - I have seen photos from a recent sand show that had a BENCH seat custom made for the front of a RZR which would allow 3 peeps in the front - they just have to be small peeps. You may want to inquire at UTVCRAP.com - I know that Nick was going to look into it. I think the seat was a Mastercraft but I could be mistaken.
