HAs anyone tried it yet on a Raptor?
The site lists it's programable.
The ignition and programmer are bout $500
Any experiences out there?
Worth the investment?

ive heard good things about the Dynas....
they come preset with 5 or so different timing curves to use without even getting the programmer...
and most importantly, they raise the rev limiter which is a big problem on most 4 stroke quads

I have had one on my 727 Raptor for over a year now and unless you are planning on running a two-step rev. limiter, nitrous or a boosted application, then there is ZERO reason to run this product. The base unit itself is programmable but not without the programming kit and then if you do not have access to a dyno with lots of spare time on your hand (like we did with mine), then don't waste your money.
As far as raising the rev limiter, there is ZERO need to do that on a Raptor, unless you are working with a motor that is built to rev, which large single cylinder 4-Strokes are not. You make all of your power well below the factory rev. limiter even with a higher compression piston and big cam.
We saw a slight shift in the power band, but no discernable peak power gains at all, which is what you need in a single cylinder 4-stroke, as there is no shortage of available torque.
The best upgrade path for a Raptor is as follows in my opinion: Sparks, Yoshimura Ti or Graydon exhaust, 11-12:1 piston, Craycraft porting, Hot Cams Stage II cam with Kibblewhite springs and some intake of your choice. With that set-up you will beat the vast majority of dune Banshee's on any given weekend at Mother G. Unfortunately with all that new power you will need a +4 swingarm.
