Hey Guys,

Just found this forum and I am very thankful and lucky for its existence. This is my 8 year old daughter Gia on her recently restored '85. Took a while to get it to where it currently is. Parts are so hard to find here in Manila, Philippines. It still needs a new seat cover, seat foam and a seat pan.

Tell me what you guys think,

Nino

CHEFF
Awesome looking ride for sure. Maybe it's time for the chEFF to build his. Peace

Very Nice Nino!

Seeing as that is a 1985 70 the seat cover you want is going to be blue with a 70 on the side.

Presently the best place to get that seat cover is from a lady in Canada, Here is a link to one of her auctions:

70 Logo Seat Cover

I have purchased several of these seat covers and they are very close to stock .

About $58.00 shipped ( with the 70 logo) to the US not sure about the Philippines.

We have seat foams ( Sterdy Products ) and so does Dratv , Haven't tried international shipping yet but send me a pm and we can see what it would take. Dratv does not ship internationally

As far as the seat pan, thats a tough one. Ebay is going to be your best bet. they are hard to come by.

Good luck and welcome to the board!!

I have been want to post this build since Christmas.... Guess this is a good time icon_biggrin.gif

It was the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse, But in the garage……. Was a different story ...

I in my baseball cap assisted be my favorite elf ( Josh my son) were just getting started on a long nights secret build…

The bike was neglected and not much to see not the kind of present that would give a child glee.

So me and my elf set forth our minds to make this a present, the long lasting memories kind.

We stripped down the bike We cleaned and painted , adjusted all parts
This bike had to be cool, way off the charts!

You see this wasn’t just any child that this bike was groomed for….
This was for Audrey who next year will be four!

We worked long into the night , Me and my son, and about 4 in the morning we
Yelled Yeah !! we are done.

Now Audrey had lots of great presents, very nice every one.
But which do you think was her favorite one?

The End

I have to give a huge thank you to Andy ( Poule43)
I decided to do this a couple of weeks before Christmas and He gave me not only some key parts to the build, but also the encouragement during the busy holiday season to get it done. If you have never met Andy, he is a class act. A little crazy sometimes but one of the nicest guys you will ever meet , I am truly fortunate to call him my friend.

fng2moto
The tires.......where'd you get those???
Mr.DUNE
Nino nice looking bike you built there I'm sure your daughter love's it.

Tres very cool pink bike you look good on it hahaha.

I'm sure you're going to have to do some sweet talking to Audrey to ride it again, that is just so cool of you guys to build the bike for her way to go poppa.
Mr.DUNE
Here is a couple more pic's of the last bike I did just gave it a bath.

I call this bike a (Super 70) because it's so big, it stands 3ft 5in tall and has full suspension (A+ Frame)...
ninoavent
Thanks to CHEFF, Treshombre, Mac, and Mr. Dune for all the kind words.

Funny thing is, I know of only one other 70 here in Manila that has made an appearance in one of the local Minitrail-MonkeyTrail get togethers, and I still haven't met the guy nor seen the 70.

Its nice that you guys over there have a whole community who is very eager and willing to help out a fellow 70-lover.

Bunch of my buddies here want to bring over a few ATC's, but with how ebay goes, only wanting the 70's picked up, we can't seem to get them shipped. If someone lived close enough to LA, I can get one of my friends over there to pick them up. So, any 70's available, anyone....

Thanks again,

Nino

PS - fng2moto, I got the tires here. they run about $50each, yikes...

I have been working on this 85 for a long time now. I thought I would do something deifferent, so I stretched the frame 1 1/2 and added the us90 tank. I rebuilt the engine with a new head and jug from Dr atv. This will be a theme bike and will be set after a kid’s movie. I will be selling it after it is all done. It is coming out awesome. More pics to follow in a few days. Should have it all done next week.
