Alright I finally talked my dad into going to glamis again after being out of it for about 4 years. When he used to go he used to camp off of that little dirt road right before you hit the canal going into glamis. It used to be free to camp there. Is it still free to camp there?

I'm not positive, but I think you're asking about one one of the areas that was swallowed up in the "expanded fee" area.
I'm trying to find that New And Improved map... I know it's been posted somewhere on the GlamisDunes board previously.
For certain, the one thing the BLM has made very sure of, is there is no more free camping within the ISDRA boundaries.
If you camped on Glamis sand for free at one time, that time has passed and you must now pay a fee.

We camp north of the 78 in between the old & new canal's. It is fee area now. The rangers were checking for passes Halloween weekend.
