I have had my big gun fall apart also. Their customer service is excellent though.

Think long and hard before you buy a pipe cause it's "loud and deep". I loved the fact that my big gun almost bursted my ear drums for about two months. Once the novelty wore off, the pain set in. Having a super loud bike is not cool to anyone riding with you. What with sound restrictions encompassing more and more riding areas, it might be worth your while to buy a quite core pipe.

I really don't see how the harley riders stand it after more than a couple rides.

Guess what!?!??!! Its falling apart. I am gonna call the Big Gun today and see what they have to say. Hey Ben.... WHat was your experience with them??

DH, Big Gun is local for me. They are located in Ontario Ca., less than 15 miles from my house. I just walked in with my pipe after my Yamaha dealer couldn't or wouldn't help. As I talked to the receptionist, this guy in a wheel chair came out. turns out he was Mike Young. Either Young or Gun, I'm not sure. Anyways, he is one of the owners. He took the pipe and had it welded up, gave me some new screws for the silencer that had vibrated out, and the second time it happened,gave me a new silencer. Everyone was very cool over there and more than willing to fix my problem.

Now, I had the first model of pipe for the YZ400. I could understand that it had a few bugs and needed some changes. If the Big Gun pipes are still falling apart, I would not recommend them period, no matter how nice the owners are.

Hmm, I've had 2 out of 5 White Bros pipes break, along with 2 out of 2 for a friend. They warranty them, but who wants to deal with it 5 miles out? I keep an extra one on hand now...

Tron, that's strange, I replaced my big gun with a white bros. e-series and it's lasted twice as long as the big gun did. Still in great shape except for a small dent that happened when a rock jumped up and slammed into it.

I am gonna give them a call today and see what they say. Ill update later.

Alba makes a good one also, a new dual pipe is due out in about a month but you lose your air box
