After last weeks crazy roll at the drags and my wife rolling her long travel Rhino with the kids in it I'm a little freaked out. Thank God mama and my little monsters didnt get hurt. I've always told the kids to hang on to their shoulder belts no matter what and they did...I think thats the first time they actually listened to me j/k!

Since my luck always tends to run out I'm needing wrist restraints for both my LT rail and my LT Rhino. Where would you recommend buying these? I see multiple sites that sell them but figured I'd get input here. Also advice on proper installation would be appreciated.

BTW I already bought doors for the Rhino too!

Thanks

I'm sure Racer offroad would have them. They are in the west valley. King Glamis works there.

Jason,

I am using DIEST wrist restraints in the rail and rhino....$40.00 per pair at McKenzies in Irvine....google them, I think they do mail order !!!!

DO NOT drive without them....not worth it at all. IMHO

Good luck / see you next week with the plastics....

Hey Andy,

My wife rolled the Rhino after I got back to camp from picking up the doors WTF? I guess the man upstairs was confirming i made the right decision smile.gif We'll be out there on 2/22-24. Can you leave them with one of the perm residents out at the compound or should I make arrangements through GD mail service?

Thanks Again,
Jasent

OMG....DOORS / Wrist Restraints / 5 point harness....A MUST....I am not trying to be a wuss, but man...the rhinos can be super dangerous if they don't have these things. Get with scott and get the brackets for those doors....buy the restraints...I mean it / I drove a guy at 105mph who trashed his hand on a rhino last year to the Brawley hospital / (IN SEVERE PAIN)....That did it for me......as far as the rail.....gotta have wrist restraints....It is a must....I even carry an extra one if I get in someone elses rail. ($20 bucks of great peace of mind!!)

Glad you guys are OK........I will be in the pound next weekend....we can pull cages and switch out the plastics.... 25cheers.gif

No worries.........NOW get those restraints...I can help you with them next weekend if you want me to. I really prefer the DIEST.....TEE (Tony) turned me onto them last year and I have been very happy with them.

crow sells them for about 20 - 25 bucks

Racer Offroad has them. KG is in the garage installing our new TeamTech belts in the buggy as we speak. THEY ARE THE BEST BELTS ON THE MARKET in my opinion. GD.com discount on belts and a lot of other parts. Call KG tomorrow to pick them up, 623 582 8600. He is there from 10-6, ask for Doug. icon_biggrin.gif

I bought mine directly from crow, I think they were $25 a pair, I got 2 pairs, one for the front seats and one for the back, I just use them on the outside arms. I prefer the wrist restraints other than the arm restraints, I think that wearing them around the wrist is more comfortable than around the forearm. The wrist restraints come with a velcro loop that goes around the wrist, the length is adjustable from end to end. There is a loop at one end which I put over the buckle on the lap belts, then adjust the length so that there is full movement inside the car, but wont allow the arms to go outside the car.

Work like a charm.

Crow will ship direct to you, I am not sure of their website but if you do a google search, I am sure you can find it. I think it may be. www.crowenterprises.com

Don at scu supplys them with new cars. At first I thought they were silly but I wore them anyways. After seeing some peoples hands get mangled from not haveing them I consider them a 6'th point to the harness. Nobody rides in my car with out them.
