We will be going to Gordon's for turkey day this year. We usually avoid the big holidays but the 4 day weekend is good for us. We will try to get as far out of the dust bowl as possible without getting Blaze stuck in the new Discovery. My 'burban's bad ass but I don't know if it's that bad ass! We will head to our normal spot and maybe try to get a little deeper if the road conditions allow it. Last trip we let a rookie pick our spot and ended up in the middle of the canal traffic. Can't do that again

Duke says he's frying up a couple of turkeys so we need side dishes.

what about a spot 1/2 way between the mosh pit and riley camp?is it overlooked or is it a pitfall?

We should look in to it. I know at about 2 miles there is a pretty big soft area.

I won't be able to make the Turkey weekend. I'll be home making home made sausage, we do it every year. So have a few for me. And for Xmas shut down if I don't work I'll bring some sausage out there.

I regret to say that we are cancelling our Thanksgiving trip this year. The majority of the group was already going the following weekend so we(my family) are going the same route. The opportunity to work the holiday and pay for Christmas is too tempting for me to turn down. Plus the insanity of the holiday crowd is too stressful with the kids.

We are also considering spending Christmas in the desert. The kitchen remodel won't be done till after the holidays and some of the family is going to be away so what better excuse to hang our stockings on the Warroir!
