Just the basics?

Thanks!!!!

DH, all of our groups Blasters are running Power Pros, they work great, and none of us have had to re-jet, or change stock filter. We have a person in our group who supplies Power Pros with tube bends, so we usually get a good deal.
SHOCKER
Well,I have a paul turner header from duncan racing, nad for the muffler is a FmF powercore 2, FmF and duncan racing and trenga racing have the best pipes, check out trengaracing.com they have good pipes that I want icon_biggrin.gif

I'm going with the toomey kit. I want to change my airbox and stock filter as I think it is restrictive. and I think you should re-jet after changing your pipe, at least make sure you are not running too lean. Espeacially considering that Glamis is A: at sea level and B: the sand combined with paddles puts more load on the engine than dirt does.

Just my .02

Oh yea, and ditch the oil injection system, You don't have to buy the 30.00 kit just take the pump off then take out the gearing, then put the pump back on with a solid gasket ( no hole in it ) I just made a gasket with some gasket material,
Then find a plug that will fit over the inlet on the carbureater where the oil line previously connected.

Heres the Toomey web site:

Here is a site called Trenga racing which has alot of blaster info.
This link shows how to do the block off kit.... but believe me you can do it for a couple of bucks.

Just remember no matter what you do to it ....it's still a Yamafail grenade.gif
SHOCKER
Yeah I cut out my airbox and put on this uni clamp on filter and made a specialair system for the uni to fit on, do to it was to small to fit on the carb, I also just got some 18-9-8 gecko paddles, so i dont have to worry about another re-jetting of my carb

Not bad shocker.... But if I was you I'd throw an OuterWears cover on that bad boy. That way it won't get clogged up with sand as fast.

Actually K&N makes a slip on which has much better breathability, couple that with an outerwears cover , jet the bike accordingly and you got mucho zoom zoom icon_biggrin.gif
SHOCKER
Yeah i just put in on, but im going to get one
BamBam
I put the DMC Alien on my wifes. Runs great. Ran the jetting they suggested. I think the carb is too small, loses power in 5th. It was $209, chrome from Golden West cycle at the sand show. You are supposed to ditch the airbox lid. A K&N is the next step.
TANK
toomey b1 pipe is hands down THEE best pipe for the blaster in my eyes...put one on my lil bro's blaster and its a tremendous difference, in box k&n with outerwear no lid and a larger jet....makes the blaster fun again burnout.gif
SHOCKER
Well we all have different preferences, but what about paddles,

What paddles are u guys runin on your blaster?

I had 20-11-8 sand sharks, they were 8 paddle
now I have 18-9-8 sand geckos, they are 6 paddle
