I have a Funco Gen3 with air bags and a 450HP turbo Subaru with a Mendeola 2D that will soon be for sale for $46500. Motor has about 5 barrels of fuel through it total, and the car it self looks like a brand new car. If your interested drop me a PM.

You can get a brand new car for that price. Why even bother looking at used?

I was wondering if its better to get a "name brand" higer end car someone its trying to get out of right now or a new lesser name car.
I know the motor and tranny should be close to the same. I love the SCU and SU cars.
I dont want to screw anyone. I know you get what you pay for and I know there are a lot of people trying to get out of their 'equity line' right now.
I sold my 2 seater a week ago and went to Sand Mtn. with just quads and my friends rails. Just not the same fun without a car! I will get out and drive some of tese once I see what is available.
thanks for the input!

What do you think is a better choice, used higr end car (SCU, SU or equiv. or) or new Sandwinder for the same price?

Call Darren at Sandwinder......make sure you compare "apples to apples" and you wont find a better deal on a new car than

I,d get a big name, well optioned used car over a lesser equipped , lesser desired new car. When it comes time to sell, they are both gonna be used and the cars you mentioned will be much more desireable to most buyers.

I agree with that right there. Get more for the same money on a used car. Let someone else take the depreciation. the 40k new car will be worth 35k as soon as you hit the sand, and less once it has a little wear.

Definitely true.. Not to imply that a Sandwinder is a lesser optioned lower quality car, they are very nicely equipped and well built for the money. The deals right now are in the used market.

Before you buy anything, you've gotta drive a Funco for an informed decision.

I would call Don at SCU and get a brand new car with a 3.5 honda, mende, bypasses, etc for 40 k right now. Seems like a killer deal to me.

I will second that motion. If it is still for sale
this is one of the lowest price Gen 4s out there. Most of the v8 gen 4s start in the mid 50s. This one that
sold looked like a smokin deal.

I think that second one was Bohica's old car, that car was badass for sure. No doubt funco's are great cars, just hard to find them for 40k or under.

I might let my 2 seat hustler go for around 40. I just did the tranny a few trips ago, and I'm freshening up the subie right now.

My vote is a new SCU for $40k pick your color and its your car. Hearing someone say "isn't that so-n-so car?" Been there done that.
