I'm looking for a plumber to install a new drain from my kitchen in front of the house to tie into my main drain. I've had the existing line checked with a camera and it appears to be broken in the slab and the easiest fix is to take a new drain out the front of the house and over to where the main goes across my front yard. So if anyone's interested in some side work, the job is in Santee and I have cash! PM me if you are interested and we can have you come check it out. I've got a contractor coming to give me a quote tomorrow but I'd rather give a fellow GD.com person the work and money.

My husband has been a plumber for 15years, he can do it. We live in Lakeside too so just around the corner from ya! He started his own company about 2 years ago, we can use the work!!!

Ask him if / when he wants to come look at it? I'm home after 5 during the week or whenever on the weekend! I need this thing fixed soon. It backs up right away now and I'm tired of it!

Hows the foundation on your house? Santee is known for cracked slabs. Just asking because for a pipe to break in the slab, something had to shift in my opinion.

Of course it has a cracked slab! I think all of the houses in Santee that were built around 1960 have one. It was patched prior to us buying the house but has probably gotten worse in the last 5 years. Like I said, they ran a camera down it and tried to clean it but the camera even got to a spot where it wouldn't go any further because the pipes are probably offset too much for it to pass.

Make sure the laundry drian does not tie into that line somewhere on the way to the main.
Thats a very common practice here!

Laundry is at the back of the house in the garage. Probably runs straight across to the bathrooms I would think. It's a more direct route that way and that line hasn't ever backed up. It would have by now since the sink backs up within 10 seconds of the water running. It used to only do it after a few mins of the water running but now it's pretty much blocked.
