So a while back I had to repair my water pump housing with JB weld to get me out of a jamb. Now I have access to a TIG welder and want to fix the crack correctly.

Is there any magic potion that will remove JB Weld with out having to grind or file it off?

no magical potion that i know off....best bet would be to grind/sand it off
