ok i bought a new ricky stator and flywheel and i need some damn tool called a stator puller. does anyone have one (i can borrow or rent) or by any chance does anyone know how much it would cost to have the stator put on the bike. let me know any info you have.

the tool you need is a flywheel puller i believe, they dont cost that much

Yeah it's simple to do job and the tool only costs 10 buck at any dealer. Remember don't lose the DEGREE KEY when taking off the flywheel...

I just went through that on my Tecate so I could install some real lights. I needed an impact and the puller to get the flywheel off, but mine's an external flywheel. Installing the lighting coil on the stator and installing the stator are a piece of cake.

well im gonna have to wait til after turkey day. unfortunately i wont be able to show it off for that weekend but i also dont want to mess anything up on the bike or take a chance at hurting it for the weekend. it seems like a piece of cake to do but i just want to make sure i do it right the first time.

thanks for all your comments and help ill keep ya posted on how everything comes out. ill try to even post some pics of the finished product if i can figure it out.
