Pat and Oscars.
Use to be a great place to go IMO. Now they have gone way downhill.
Service took forever, food was just alright...nothing spectacular. The best thing we had was the bread sticks

This has happened two times, won't be going back.

They put there sandwiches once they are put together in a woodburning oven for the final heating!
Most people can only eat half these things are 10 in diameter and full of flavor

George's Hamburgers in Fullerton, CA
Best Pastrami's 3.75 compared to the hat 7 and 9 dollars. what a rip off.
If you like taquitos they have good spicy guacamole taquitos.
If order fries be prepared for a lot of fries. You get a big bag to begin with, then they Add another scoop to the bag.
Chili burgers are better than any I have ever had.
If you are ever in Fullerton you need to stop in and try them. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Macaroni Grill- get their 'Simply Salmon' entree, it is a grilled salmon steak, no nonsense, and aspergrass that is grilled with some kind of oil on it, best meal on the menu in my opinion.. their ministroni soup used to be good, but it has been removed from the menu. their taramisu (sp) is bleeechhh!
The Mentone steak house- Great food, decent portions, smartypants waitresses, loved the place!
Slim Piggins Bbq(redlands)- Best corn bread I have had. BBQ is pretty tasty, but on the whole, an average place, not as good as they think they are.
Marie Calenders(Redlands)- Gordon Ramsey needs to go in there and light them up.. not every sauce or gravy needs wine in it. Honestly, it isn't always better that way.
Magik Wok- (redlands, by the 10/30 interchange) Some of the best hot and sour soup I have had.
Daves BBQ(Redlands)- cute place, average food, nice staff, forgettable, haven't been back since the first visit
The Jade Inn- Highland- Asian food, pretty good, the pine nut chicken is a very unusual dish, one of the more complex flavors I have ever experienced. All the food I have had there has been very fresh.
On The Border- Best beef Empanadas, ribs are great, just don't go on one if the times they have all-you-can-eat ribs, they cook them differently, no where near as good as when you oder them off the menu.
Olive Garden Ontario Mills- good food, I enjoyed it.
Hooters Ontario Mills- Any man that says he goes there for the food is a big fat liarspants! I had no idea you could screw up chicken wings as badly as they did!
Elephant Bar San Bernardino- Great place! interesting food, service not bad, unusual menu. Go early.
Just a start...
Any good or unusual restaurants you can recommend?

Mama Kats in san marcos for breakfast, the best biscuts and gravy in N. county.
Allans alley in Vista, really good breakfasts as well, kind of hard to find.
The potato shak in Encinitas is a pretty good breakfast as well.
Steak escape for lunch, really good Teriyaki tripple cheese steak sandwich.
Chins in N county Escondido, San Marcos, and Vista locations all pretty good chinese food.
Famous daves BBQ in vista is pretty good, there beef brisket is tasty, and they serve sweat tea!!!!
Ruth Chris steakhouse in Del Mar, very good food, just alittle to pricey.
Cheasecake factory in Mission Valley is awsome, there menu reads like a book, 20 plus pages!!!
I'm sure there are tons more, just can't think of them all right now, cause I'm getting hungry!!!

Chicken Pie diner in Poway has the best pot pies around, in a fun little diner setting. They opened a huge one in San Marcos, must not of done so good. It was shut down the last time we tried to go

One of my favorites here in Palm Desert is Roys

It's a Hawaiian Fusion place. They have the best macadamian crusted mahi mahi with a burbon sauce

And their pineapple martinis are awsome.
Ken's favorite is LG's steak house. They have a great steak but so expensive. And they make the ceaser salad from scratch right in front of you
We have a great little taco shop right here by the house off Bob Hope and Ramon. They have the best shrimp tacos.
