I just finished the build of my first ATC70. Though I haven't posted too many questions on the forum I have read many topics from other members that have helped tremendously during this build. You can also tell from the pictures that I used many of the same designs of the other members. What's the old saying? Imitation is the finest form of flattery. Still trying to get the atc movement going here in Kentucky, hopefully this build will help. Lots of thumbs up and compliments so far during it's first test ride, so we'll see. Again thanks to everbody on this site that makes it what it is.

That 70 is BAD ASS!!!! Mad props to you what looks to be an excellent build!!! The only thing missing from it is a GD.COM Sticker! laughing.gif Maybe The Stickman will be impressed with that build and send you out a Slappy sticker to bless your ride!!!

70.gif ride on brother and covert the masses in Kentucky!

Thanks for the compliment and you brought up a good point. How in the world could I forget the GD.COM sticker?! I've got the t-shirt but it looks like I'll be needing to place another order.

Very nice build... I am liking the cut rear fenders with those tires! Good job on the motor!

The motor is a 110cc that I found on e-bay. Kickstart, 4-speed semi-automatic. Nothing crazy but a lot of fun to ride. I wish it would stop raining here so I could get back out on it.

What part of KY are you located in, I am in Florence.....just south of Cincinnati..
toyobuilder
I live right off I-75 in Georgetown. kylegpatton, do you have a 70?

I opted to put a clarke plastic tank on my 70, sorry to the traditionalists. I originally had the oe tank installed but I wasn't happy with my body work. I turned around and sold the oe tank on e-bay for more then I had originally paid for the 70 that it was on. When the plastic tank arrived it had a pretty plain gas cap on it so I bought a tusk brand gas cap for it through rockymountainatv.com. The part number is 1086810001 and they have it on sale for $29.99. I've been really happy with it so far.

They've been on the tank for a while and I haven't had any problems out of them so far. I ordered them off e-bay, and I wish I could remember the sellers name. I've ordered sets off different people in the past and I had problems out of theirs. These are some of the best I've ever owned. I've had gasoline spilled on them and I've had numerous coats of armor-all applied and so far no bubbling or loss of adhesion. I've also got a lt80 and I can't get anything to stick to it's tank. (or at least the decals that I had made here in Ky). I'm wanting to order the ct racing graphics kit they make for it but I can't bring myself to shell out that kind of money for them yet.

Yeah I have one, here are a couple pictures...where do you go riding at in KY?

Is that a Honda xr / crf 50 fuel cap that fits a 70 filler neck?

Nice job Toyo!

Some very quality parts on that bike icon_wink.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Walt , That is a plastic tank like the one you saw at my house today.

The graphic kits that I have seen be the most successful on plastic tanks
are perforated , lots of small holes . not sure how one would do that without detracting from the look
on these stickers.

Comment sent. About your chain tensioner, goes on the outside of the chain, pressing up. I think you have it inside pressing down

Nice build thumb.gif

It's funny you mentioned it. My brother came up today and was riding it while I sat and observed. After his first trip by me I noticed that it was on backwards and I immediately changed it. I appreciate you looking out for me though.

I mostly ride back in and around my hometown of Paintsville (eastern KY). My cousin and I have been talking about planning a trip to the Hatfield McCoy trails in July. Probably wouldn't be taking the 70 though.

Just wanted to tell you thanks for all the help you've given me and the other members on the site. You certainly know your stuff.
