I installed a DG header and muffler exhaust system on the Rhino... It sounded great for the first trip out, but the second trip I took a REALLY long ride and I think it got hot. The nameplate on the muffler is all discolored and I think the packing burned away because she is louder than S*** right now! Could it be that my jetting is all screwed up now that I changed the exhaust? Any suggestions?

Thanks
Crusty
Any Full Exhaust or even just a slip on will require you to rejet your carb.

Do you also do a KN type filter?

You need to fatten up your jetting....meaning MORE GAS to mathc the MORE AIR.

Look at your DG info...see what they recomend.
If no info there...start calling some shops.

^^^^^^ What he said. The mfr should have some jetting recommendations either in the lit that came with the pipe, or from their tech people. Hopefully you didn't cook the valves running it lean...

Hopefully not... Looks like I have some work to do with that carb.

No... Didn't do an intake, just exhaust.

Any Exhaust works best with an intake.

Since you'll have to adjust your jetting......do an intake and save yourself time from re-jetting again (If you add intake later).

Intake/Exhaust always go hand in hand.

Check your spark plug, it will tell you everything you need to know

So do I just need to go bigger on the main? Should I start with +1 from stock and go from there?
