Here is the Story... Up-date 5/9/2008 back on the Market see post #14

First of all thanks to Motoxdad for telling us about this deal. Ed (Causualrider033)
and myself were shooting the breeze in my garage about future trips to Glamis. Motoxdad
calls Ed to look on Glamisdunes for a great deal in the Buggies for sale section. Actually
Ed wanted a 4-seater but this was way too good to pass up. I also knew one of the members in
our group wanted a 2-seater really bad and was waiting for a good deal. So I knew someone in
our group was going to have a smokin Car. When we went to see the Car it was much better
than the standard SU rear engine 2-seater. It was a fully tabed Chomo frame with extra
bracing all over, extra large heims, extra large A-Arms, seat sliders, front spindels and
fully boxed trailing arms. This Car is stout. It came with all the heims, tie rods, CNC
pedals, Charlyn power unit, HD Rack & Pinion, Custom Trans mount,Sparco Race Seat,
Subie 2.0 turbo JDM motor. It has a new Home now and Ed, Steve and Buddie are three happy guys.
We will figure out which one of us will finish this Car and we promised Tim (Last Owner)
that we would post pictures when we were done.

Hey guys, first I wish you the best of luck. It doesn't have to be a name brand to be cool and fun!!!
Haven said that, someone has misrepresented this car to you. IT IS DEFINTILEY NOT A SUSPENSIONS UNLIMITED CAR.
On one front it makes me livid that people would try and use the good reputation that we work very hard to build and spend an absorbent amount of money to maintain. On the other hand, plagery is the best form of flattery. Each to his own but I wanted you to know first hand that this is definitely not an SU BUILT car. I do see some of our components on here but it might be a really old version of one of our cars that this gentlemen has changed the design of and bought parts from us along the way to try and finish.

You know I'm not quite sure about this. You could be 100% correct. I had my doubts about the identity of the car but in the end it didn't matter to either one of us. I'll try to clear this up with Tim. SU or not, this is a bitchin stout arse car for a price we just couldn't pass up. We didn't buy it for resale so at this point it who really cares? I guess down the line it might become a subject of greater interest I'll either have Tim post a comment or get some more clarification myself and let you know. Thanks for the comment though

Actually since that is IT IS DEFINTILEY NOT A SUSPENSIONS UNLIMITED CAR, then it couldn't of been built safely. I will post my address to you so you can immediately deliver it to me to dispose of.

U might call the guys at Mosebillt. It has alot of things on it the same as my car. John use to work for SU. The rear trialing arms look like mosebullts and the seat sliders are exactly the same as mosebillts. Also when I first looked at mosebillts cars he had a couple at that time (about 5 years ago) that looked like that one.

Nice find. I was looking for the same thing. I have a 2 seater Mosebilt 2.5 Subi and would like to find a 2 seat for my girl friend. Call Mosebilt as Blu-by-U said John built mine and he can build anything. Keep us all posted.

Update: I called Tim on Friday and he confirmed this is NOT a suspensions unlimited car. I'd rather not get into details but thought I would give you guys an update.

Breaking news!!! The frame is for sale. Steve will not go through with the build as originally thought. See Buddie for more details but I just talked to Steve and he will not build the car. Due to financial circumstances beyond his control the car is on the market. If anyone is interested send Buddie or myself a PM. The asking price is $5k and it comes with a 2.0 Subaru motor and some extra stuff. It is a great deal and a stout frame. All you guys that were jealous, step up and score a deal on this frame

Is it tabed for subi or will ls motor fit also what trans will fit?

It is tabbed for a subi 2.0 and medi trans, I'm sure you can put whatever motor you want but call Buddie to get more details.
