First time builder with a used frame I purchased. Frame is a 2005 scorpion mid engine mid travel. Initially had 4 cyl ford with vw transaxle. I have a new built and welded transaxle and have put in a used 1994 Chevy 4.3 v6. This motor came with all the front pulleys, brackets, power steering , alt, water pump, and a/c pump. Is there pulleys you buy to replace the unused components for the power steering pump and a/c pump? Is there another set of brackets that you can use to make some more room in the front of the engine? Or do the new brackets have to be fabricated and a belt found to fit? I would like to stay with the serpentine system if possible.
Thanks,
Chris

Any small block pulleys/brackets will bolt right up. I would get rid of the serpentine...it takes up too much room and is ugly. On mine I bolted on a short-style small block V8 aluminum water pump and used the corresponding pulleys. I bought low mount alt and PS brackets and bolted it up....very simple, cheap, clean, and compact.

Thanks, That is what I'm going to do. I was not sure if the standard small block stuff would work. icon_biggrin.gif

Here is how ours came out...

Mine started out with serpentine belts. I got rid the serpentine purchased a water pump for V belts (they do turn different directions) and V belt pulleys and have ran it that way for about 15,000 miles.
