Well it has come time to powder coat the shee. I am looking for recommendations from you guys and places to stay away from. I am also looking for some chrome facilities as well. I am in the Southern California Area, Orange Co.
I know there are other posts on here, but I am looking for more of an updated list.

sounds weird but i heard mexico is a great plase cuz they can use the chemicals down there we cant in the US and get a nice job for a really cheap price. i dont know where in mexico but my buddy got all his done (everything except the frame) for like $400. axle, suspension, parts of the motor, everything including the subframe on his 400 ex. i wish i had a pic it is bitchen.

they are fairly inexpensive and do a decent job. request to have the fine media blasting, or better yet bring it to them blasted and clean. the finer the substraight the better the finished appearance.

Santa Ana Plating is awesome
I use "BUSH chrome and polish" in Garden Grove and they do a real nice job.
I have Trinity do my powder coating but wasn't real happy with it.
Try EMBEE Performance Coating in Santa ana, they do real nice work and can do just about anything. 714-546-6907

For powdercoating I would say in OC go to

I had my extended swingarm powdercoated by J & N Powdercoating and they did a super nice job, their prices are very affordable, and their turnaround time was very fast. They are in Santa Ana off the Dyer exit on the 55. They are really nice guys and go out to Glamis too.

Many powder coaters and chromers in the SD area send there stuff south because of the labor costs and the wonderful EPA rules. Keeps costs down to the customer and most often good quality. I noticed your front sprocket is looking a tad worn? Whats up don't you check that thing daily?

Embee performance coatings does ceramic exhaust coatings, piston coatings, and powdercoating among many other aerospace processes
powdercoat has had some issues in the past, but that is about to stop. Jeff Conrad is taking over the whole department (he currently has run ceramic) and will turn the powdercoat division into a much better run facility 714-546-6907
