The Wagon Wheel is on the corner of Mission Gorge and Magnolia.

They have a very large bar/dance floor area in the back. They have pool tables and beer pong tables.

Tuesdays are $1 taco nights. They have chicken, carne, and fish taco's all of which are very good.

Nothing has come close to Oggies. People keep trying to find substitutes but nothing has compared. Oggies has it all.

Oggies always has issues with the billing and the whole group thing.

Oggies always gave us extra staff, catered to our size, split up checks 50 ways, turned on heaters, played desert videos......

Oggi's next week on the 15th and Wagon Wheel on the 27th.....I'm in for both!!!

I was finally cleared to work and will be starting with training (of the job I already had ) on the 2pm-10:30pm shift this Thursday for about a week. Then they are going to have me work a couple of the shifts on my own, then they're moving me to days. So I should be able to go on the 27th whether it be the Wagon Wheel, Oggis, or wherever.

I never had any issues with Oggies, food was decent and beer selection was good. I never felt the service was spectacular or anything. Maybe kinda slow sometimes. I don't remember any desert vids, and I can't afford weed, much less acid.

So far, the least expensive place with outdoor seating was Chevy's in Mission Valley. Happy Hr from 4 - 7 pm, with $3 Margaritas and $3 appetizers (HUGE ones).


However, i'll roll with Oggie's for the 15th and Wagon wheel on the 27th, doesn't hurt to check new places out.

I'll throw my vote for Oggis. I have never left there feeling I got screwed or that the evening lacked anything. I think it has been the best place that we have all gotten together at.

If you are going for the food, the beer, the atmosphere...you are going for the wrong reasons. This is a chance to hang out with friends and meet new ones.

I would sit out in a 7-11 parking lot and shoot the sh*t so long as there are cool people.

I have never been to one of these gatherings but if you go to Oggi's now I would definetly not change to the wagon wheel. Went there for dinner and we had the worst steak EVER! The service was beyond horrible and it was something like $70 for 2 meals.

The bar in the back is much different than upfront.

Can't beat the $1 taco's.
