anyone have the jamar brakes ? what bolt is in the yellow circle ?  are they torx or 12 points ?I have a friend trying to remove them and cant figure out the type ?

also the same style but smaller hold on the rotor ?
any one removed these ?

I have the same brakes on my car. The bolt head size is a standard 3/8 12 point. It might be wise to heat the back side of those bolts with a torch, they are tight!

would a impact driver help? one that works like a screw driver and u hit with a hammer dunno.gif .

Put Liquid Wrench on them, wait 8 hours at least. Liquid Wrench works best if the part can be tirned so gravity flows the product downward into the threads.

Most Brake bolts are usually loc-tited. heat will help.
