BOUGHT THIS 80 BEFORE I FOUND OUT IT ONLY HAS 3 GEARS (KID LOVED PLASTIC, ME TOO I GUESS) SO CONSEQUENTLY MY SON RUNS THE HELL OUT OF IT. HE IS 9 BUT CAN REALLY HANDLE HIMSELF. HE CAN HANG AT OCITILLO WELLS AND OTHER HARD PACKS BUT I FEEL LIKE HE WILL BE IN THE BUGGY AT GLAMIS, WHICH WILL ABSOLUTELY KILL HIM. IVE NEVER SEEN A KID RIDE SO LONG. SO SHORT OF BUYIN A 250 FOUR STROKE HOW HAVE YOU ALL SQUEEZED MORE FUN FROM YOUR RAPTOR 80'S. THANKS

I havent seen any mods, but maybe a filter to start, and some nice tires

I've seen pipes for them. I believe either Pro Circuit or FMF I think.
That would probably help.

I dont like pro circuit, but FmF is great, I also dont like DG, they're crap and they rust

i did a ton of searching and found a guy in fresno www.raptor80racing.com who specializes in raptors and other little bikes. the guy talked to me on the phone for 45 minutes while the other phone was ringing off the hook. widened my bikes stance piped & jetted he makes a cdi and works shocks as well. im gonna squeeze a few more years out of this bike.
