Wow,

This has been a very cool ride I have been on. I first want to tell you all about how I found this site. We, my family, bought a WW LE3305 and I was doing an online search for information on them. This website popped up and I started looking at all the threads. Reading about the WW, looking at the sights of Glamis, the quads and then the Sand Cars. I was hooked. I was so amazed by them, guess you could say in awe. I knew I would never be able to afford a car like those, but I would sit there every night showing my wife the amazing pictures and videos. I didn't show her the Glamis River Rats threads, maybe another day. lol She did not understand why I was so hooked on this site. Then I started to talk/chat with different people on here, made friends on the internet who I may never meet. Offered up my phone # to people who might need a hand. Read stories of all the tragedies that happen in the dunes. Shed many a tears on lost lives and even people helping people. The thread about helping Zippy out with her truck made me . The hearts of the members on this board are huge and they do not hesitate to help.

So here is the real kicker, I have never been to the dunes. My one goal now is to get to Glamis and meet the people from this board. Hang out in the Pound or the washes and share some Ice Cold Delicious Beverages. I know I have friends here in Tucson, that I am planning on meeting soon.

I would like to thank a few people for helping me along this journey...O Soto Gari, Scat, Esco, SwampPrincess, Casualrider033, Zippy, Queen and King Glamis, Yoshi (one of these days I will have the $), Cheff, Troy, Me's and her better half, Quicker, and...damn I shouldn't have started with the names...Slappy.
