Nope to all, this was SAND DRAG RELATED. Still gonna be very tough to get I'll give the answer tomorrow.

I promised I would reveal the answer to this trivia question today, and here it is. Mr. Quick was his nickname in sand drag racing circles, but his real name was MURDOCH MURPHY of Bakersfield, Ca. He was one of the first true top fuel sand dragsters in the sport, and was the first to run under 3 seconds in the 100yd. dash in the mid 70's. That was a pretty tough question for anybody who wasn't involved in the sand drag sport pre-77. I thought maybe a couple people would have had a shot at it. Well, there you have it.
