i have both and for your situation i would go with a Kawi. better motor and better frame. yes it carburated, but a good shop can dial it in for your elevation.

The question is, what do you want to do with it, or more importantly, what do you want it to do?

The Rhino is more utility, heavier duty and will accomodate more stuff in the back. It goes 45mph stock and has 7.5 inches of suspension travel. 700cc, EFI that gets the job done, with reliability in mind. Its a Yamaha, so the quality is second to none. You sit on it, rather than in it, again, utility style.

The RZR is all play, light weight, weighing in at 950lbs. It has little to no storage space, just enough for a small cooler. It goes 58mph stock and has 9.5 inches of suspension travel. Polaris quality is (in my opinion) industry standard, but the drivetrain and engine are very reliable (as long as you replace the air intake). You sit in it, rather than on it, again, its all play.

I'll be honest, I own a RZR, but I have ridden Yamaha dirtbikes for the last 10 years. I love both brands. I would definetely consider the Yamaha if it had more sporty features. It just doesn't fit my needs, which is all fun and no work.

I went to the local Yami dealer yesterday drove a camo rhino 700efi, it was ok but felt like driving a tractor at times,
Then went to a rzr dealer drove in a rzr with a clutch kit just installed it will do dead stop donuts on the pavement...
guess which I will be looking for?
I read a lot of the other post
Thanks

I own a RZR and I chose it because of size and it is sporty. If I were buying a "work" UTV it would be a Polaris Ranger 700, if I wanted a UTV to do both, work and play I would choose a Rhino. If I weren't so impatient I would have waited to see the new Yamaha sport utv coming out and also the new Suzuki. Both of these are still in the rumor mill, but if they are what the rumors say they are they both will be worth considering.
