Hello, after riding my buddies 70 around abit and making a small track in my backyard for a few days until the wifey set me straight I went and found one without an engine. I figured the easiest way was to just Lifanize it. So i purchased a 125cc oil cooled. I have it just about completed. Just a few questions I had before I tested it out on my own.
1. I think i found the right locations, but the two bolts just under the head on the case is where the oil lines hook up? Not sure if this is right spot but correct me if im wrong.
2. does anyone have any experience with the electrical system on the lifans. Meaning which types of lights they can power up.
3. It is kickstart and im currently making a hinge for the seat/fender, but will i need to get wheel spacers for the rear tires?

well thats about all i had questions about. This forum has helped me tons with idea's and what to do/not to do so I thank you guys for the help you have already given me. Ill post pics for sure when im done with it.
Thanks again.

1. I think i found the right locations, but the two bolts just under the head on the case is where the oil lines hook up? Not sure if this is right spot but correct me if im wrong. (If the engine is a true oil cooled engine the oil input and output ports are general on the bottom of the engine, If it is an engine that you would like to add an oil cooler you must buy a special side side cover to utilize the oil cooler , see picture below)
2. does anyone have any experience with the electrical system on the lifans. Meaning which types of lights they can power up. Any 12volt headlight will work, I sometime use truck backup lights, available at napa auto etc for an inexpensive yet tough light, Or you can purchase the setup we have here: Sterdy Headlight
3. It is kickstart and im currently making a hinge for the seat/fender, but will i need to get wheel spacers for the rear tires? The bike seen on this sight with the hinge setup does run spacers.

well thats about all i had questions about. This forum has helped me tons with idea's and what to do/not to do so I thank you guys for the help you have already given me. Ill post pics for sure when im done with it.

Thanks for the info. So far I have it all togather and running/starting. I did some self mods to make it work for me for fathersday weekend at pismo. Ill post pics to show what ive done if anyone wanted to see. as far as fenders I wont be running them until I have more time to build the hinge system. One question I still have is will I need to purchase a voltage rectifier? Or can i just hook up the 12v power leg to the lights? Thanks again for having this kick ass forum, it has been tons of help.

Yes you do need to run the rectifier to run lights. You will blow the bulbs out in short order without it.
