june 19th-22nd we will be in Pismo Beach SVRA filming for the second UTV Mayhem DVD. Come celebrate my birthday in the dunes with a weekend of camping on the beach, duning and a couple hours of giving back to the dunes. Everyone is welcome, bring the entire family. Im still working on details, but im trying to do a poker run and maybe some hill-climb racing for fun. Saturday morning we will be sponsoring a dune/beach trash clean-up. Come out and show everyone that SideXside enthusiests are responsible duners! Reservations are made at reserveamerica.com for beach camping, there is also hotels in the area. Hope to see all our friends there and hope to make some new ones!!
This is the full moon weekend in June so the duning will be stellar!

no, this is the first time doing a clean-up. we just figured since we were there filming for our second UTV video that we might as well pick up some trash since we should have a good amount of utv's there.

How many UTV's showed up for the original filming? @ Pismo?

we havent been to pismo is years, will be the first time filming there. so far we have about 13 utvs signed up, only posted a little over a day ago, so its gaining some momentum. some of our glamis shoots we did were over 35+ utv's.

How do we sign up?

Just made 6 reservations for RA. Will have 7 utvs in our crew.. 3 RZR 2 Rhinos 2 Cats With a possible 1 more Cat & 1 Teryx

you missed out big time, weather was perfect, 85 on the beach, light ocean breeze, crystal clear blue skies, cold beers, fresh dunes, it was absolutely amazing, the locals said it was the best beach pismo weather in years!! i will post up pics later, i am at work right now..

here they are!!! this is how we beat the heat, it was the BEST weather you could ever have in pismo, felt like socal!! we had at least 10 side x sides in every ride, 16 on saturday all custom LT rides, we took over the drags on saturday, the whole group was real fast!! Pismo might be too small to have fun in a sand car, but a UTV is so fun there, you can do every hill, tons of jumps everywhere, cruising the beach with the kids and dogs was super fun. I was pleasantly surprised on the amount of fun we had, i had not been in 6 years or so. I definitely will try to go one more time before fall!!

We've got a weeklong trip coming up in August, can't wait.

If you like Pismo, getting a trip in before fall is the least of your worries...try getting in a trip before it gets closed to OHV. The greens have gained a lot of momentum and the dunes are very close to being shut-down.

If any of you guys would like to see Ocean Dunes remain open to OHV, I suggest doing what you can now, before it's too late.
