KREEM kits are not bad. Simply take the time to do it right...and completly.
Biggest issue is folks don't clean out the inside rust as well as they need to. Then the Skin (KREEM Layer) peels off and your left with a deflated ballon in your tank.
You have to get ALL the rust you can off the inside walls. Then you have to COMPLETELY DRY the insdie before you start the process.
The bottom tubes....just poke it out.

I dont know if its the proper way, but when I Kreemed my tank I found some wire that was close to the diameter of those tubes. I shoved the wire up the tubes and then did the kreeming process. When it was done, I pulled the wire out so the fuel could flow. I havent had a problem with it yet.

Haven't done it yet. Found another product that is supposed to be better and not as messy. I need to do some fab work before it can be mounted too.
The wire in the drain tubes is what I do work great and I've done about 5 tanks that way.

Many of you guys know about this stuff so this is for the guys who don't. Prior to Kreeming the tank, it is necessary to get the inside of the tank as clean as possible. On my last tank, I bought a gallon of Evapo-Rust from O'Reilly's Auto. I filled my tank to the brim and put the cap on it. Every once and a while I'd slosh the tank around. I let the stuff stay in the tank for a whole day and after a day, all the rust was gone. Just like that. If I hadn't seen it for my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. The stuff worked awsone. Best yet, the stuff is reusable and ecco friendly. After I drained the Evapo-Rust out of the tank, I poured a cup or so of rubbing alcohol and swished it around to removed any residue. Cleaning out the tank revealed a couple of pinholes which I brazed. Apparently, the pinholes were being blocked by rust. The tank had moderate rust starting out.
Evapo-Rust is da bomb. Clean all your metal tanks with Evapo-Rust. You can't go wrong.
