I'm blowing oil out the vent tube on my S4D, I was told I may have to much fluid in it. I filled it till it came out the side plug. I've got to go count the bottles, but I think I put like 5 1/2 grts in it. How about a list of fluid levels for the different models of trans. BTW I also have a recirculater pump on it.

5.5 qts sounds about right but the problem is the almighty little vent tube on the nose cone isnt big enough to displace the fluid and pressure that builds with the pump. ( see my other topic ). I will be taking my 2d trans to Transworks soon and hopefully I can tap some holes in the case for a better breather and a couple of output lines to feed RP and the infamous bearing problem !!.
