2strokes --- frickin' awesome!
I've followed your build, dig what you've done. I have three 110s at this time all with aftermarket frames ( Joker and Bandito ) --- What you've done is top shape, I believe you would really dig 86ing that stock box frame and adding an aftermarket frame to your build -- they're about 2-3" longer and that will help keeping the front end down a bit -- also a set of 3" wheel spacers will keep it a lot more stable with that power plant you chose ===which is bad a$$.
I'm stuck with stock engines at this time and want to replace them w/ an aftermarket. Back in the day I had a stroked 110 with a big bore cylinder kit from a Johnny's Speed and Chrome ( that name ought to clear some dust off a few readers) --- displacement was in the 170's -- installed an external oil cooler with some help from the "OG" - Danny's Machine Works in Santee, CA. I ran a straight pipe like a harley, web cam, barnett clutch, ported and polished head, etc etc -- that ATC flew and sounded awesome.
I need some help: did the motor transplant bolt right in? were any frame mods necessary? I read the intake adjustments and fabrication needed for pegs and the cooler - but other than that was it fairly a straight bolt up -- did the drive train line up? did you need to install a battery for the head light? those answers will help me out a ton!
We use to run about a 57 tooth sprocket in high range and had good results for 118cc to 123cc --- if I remember right, I used about a 42" for the big bore bike (170 ) -- what is the sprocket size you installed? is it about right for that motor?
FYI - you may know it, I can't recall reading or seeing it in your other threads -- but they use to make an aftermarket dual roller chain tensioner that worked great -- I have one that needs rechroming and new rollers -- let me know if you have seen or have one -- if you haven't , I'll snap some photos with dims and post them.
Very cool trike --- thanks for the motivation and sharin'
