I just found out that the public comment period for the Clear Creek Management Area (CCMA) closing ends Saturday, June 21. That gives us less than two days to try and save one of the best recreation areas in the state.

The most effective thing you can do is write and send a personal letter to the Hollister Field Office of the BLM. However since we do not have time for that the next best thing is to send an email with specific comments on the proposed closure actions and any of your personal comments as to how you and your friends/family use this recreation area.
