Slap has been neglecting the McScrappbook. In the past Slap would post at least 1 members McScrappbook piece a week. Slap apologizes for not doing his duty as a Brotherhood Leader. Here's a nice little piece posted by SandWizard back in 05.

It was 1994, and I had just bought a MH the year before when I was involved with my son in Indian Guides, we had a lot of fun going camping in our "Iron Teepee" with the rest of the Sons and Dads in our Tribe. But alas, it was the last year due to his age, that we would be with the group.

On a fluke, someone I knew said that they were going to Glamis that weekend and to come out. Not having anything but the most generals of Idea, we trekked out to this place in hopes of finding something to do!

Not having any "Toys" yet we spent the weekend riding (OPT), and as you could imagine my son was in paradise, and we happened to make down to Sweet Marie’s. I tried to use a CC for some Tee shirts, (not having enough cash at the time), Marie looked at me and said first time here, and said we cant run CC here

What happened next just left me in stunned, she made us all Tee shirts, and the other stuff I was needing, a card, and said "just send me a check when you get home" I couldn’t believe it, and was left with such an impression.

Now, hours later we are over by Gilmore’s recanting the story with my friend looking for a part, when the girl over the counter overhearing says, if you need anything you can send me a check also! Right there was it, I found my place, and have been an avid dunner ever since

How I long for the days when 99 % of the people out there were your friends the moment you met them, and it wasn't all about $$$$$$
