We will have a patrol of pickup trucks along Wash Road for the cleanup (with raffle tickets too), and we're looking for a team of people willing to assist down there.
Maybe a family or group that normally camps at the washes? Anyone? Just a few people who can be on hand for a couple of hours to help direct people and take in the tons and tons of trash that will come rolling in.

Full Version: Wash Road Help - Update
A group stepped forward to take on this task so we'll have a registration table near the beginning of wash road, as well as the usual at the Gecko ranger station enclosure.

As close to the entrance as possible without being in the way... I guess that would be wash 1... or at least close to wash 1.

Found out yesterday that we're getting some disposable gloves donated. The kind that you get at the gas station... not strong enough for digging through fire pits, but enough to pick up a lot of what's out there. Just a nice touch for people who might want them.

Speaking of gloves... we have a boatload of those little plastic ones being donated for the icky stuff. We'll have boxes of them at the various points.
