So, we have published our 3rd edition of Razorback....GD.com's online magazine. We have some pretty big plans for it and want all of you to be a part of it.
I am interested in some feedback. I would like to see some input from readers, and I would like to hear some constructive comments.
There are alot of peeps involved in this project and we have devoted a large portion of our lives towards making it come alive. No person involved in this project does this as a "job" it is a collateral duty for everyone involved. However, I think that our content rates far above what is being published in other "Sand" magazines.
Take time to chat about the mag...gimme some feedback...tell me what you like...tell me what you want to see more of...tell me what you want to read about......Let me know.
Thank you,
Coob

Mag settings are 800 x 800....most monitors can handle that.
Perhaps we need to change it to 800 x 600 with more pages???

I know that many of the guys who go to the dunes alone would like their families to come along and enjoy it with them. Not all women like the dunes, they're "dirty". I think an article that is written by a woman (or women)that goes to the dunes (and enjoys herself) may be helpful to these stay at home women.

Going to read it right now....have to say the Hawk sound made me look behind me....had my speakers turned up and wasn't expecting that!!

I am not sure what the issues are with some of those running Mozilla and firefox. Ill look into it, seems that some are able to view it while running those programs.
As far as the bottom being cut off for some viewers, the mag is currently running 800 x 800 page settings. Monitors can handle this setting, your monitor settings need to be reset to a larger setting. Perhaps, we will try a 800 x 600 page setting.
We are researching new software programs.
There is a lot of really good content in the magazine, I would greatly appreciate it if you would take the time to read the articles. I believe that you will find it very interesting and entertaining. There are a few of us that have put countless hours into this project. This magazine is for you, to read and enjoy.
We are not presenting just 'another off-road magazine', we have content for all to enjoy. The magazine is also educational. We feature safety tips, duning tips, Glamis wild life, and history. We cover GD.com events that many of you participate in. We speak to leaders in the industry and bring their companies and products to you to learn about.
We have a great staff that includes some of the best graphics gurus and a professional photographer that brings the action directly to your desktop. While we are always looking for people that are interested in contributing to our magazine, we have several committed individuals on our staff that enjoy submitting articles for you to enjoy.

the 3rd issue is HUGE! There are a ton of photos and other media. It does take a bit to download, I realize that. I dont know what is causing your computer to crash during the download process.
Once you get it downloaded, you can save it so you dont have to download it each time you want to view it.

Great feedback everybody. We will be looking into getting a version so we can view it much easier. Coob and samplr have been searching like crazy to find online magazine software that would be easier for us. They kept coming up with the same stuff. The digital version? Coobie, Sand Addiction has a slapptacious software and wonderful magazine, maybe we needs to look into something like that. It just ain't right if everybody can't enjoy Razorback.
To all those folks who contributed to this last issue, YOU ARE DOWNRIGHT WONDERFUL. GREAT JOB.
But a big THANK YOU goes to Retodd. That man is a stud and has come through numerous times for us, we can't thank him enough. Great job Retoddster.

My 3 cents since ya asked

Basically the same 2 covers for issues 2 and 3-yawn.
Fortrin article-excellent, very well written and easy to follow. I learned a lot.
fng's article: miracle tape (or whatever it was)-hard to follow, weird grammar, didn't really understand what the product did. maybe I was not in the right mind set?
Slaps article-
Love the sound on the 2nd page of the hawk.
Adopt-a-wash page looks like a small image was made larger-grainy
Need TONS more bikini gal/sand rail pic's!
Witches Eye article-made my butt pucker, no other magazine has done this to me

Can't view it on a mac, with Safari or firefox, need some driver which is not available. Mac users must have Parrels and open it in IE. Was able to view it fine in IE on a normal PC once it loaded.
My last name is

Keep up the great work, I know it's not easy!

You will have to register it eventually. Think it's $80.
Once you have that installed you will need to install a PC operating system. I suggest staying away from Vista and run XP.

What is Data Execution Prevention?
Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that can help prevent damage to your computer from viruses and other security threats. Harmful programs can try to attack Windows by attempting to run (also known as execute) code from system memory locations reserved for Windows and other authorized programs. These types of attacks can harm your programs and files.
DEP can help protect your computer by monitoring your programs to make sure that they use system memory safely. If DEP notices a program on your computer using memory incorrectly, it closes the program and notifies you.
