I bought a set of ITP sandstars mounted. When I went to put them on, the paddles did not line up with each other(could not make them match) they basically alternate. In my book, the paddles are supposed to match, at least thats what I thought.

Question is: are they supposed to match, or am I over reacting?

thanks

I dont think it matters, but you can break the bead then spin the tire or move to a different spline on the axle.

It does'nt matter, the tires will spin some on the rim any way.

I thought they were suppose to line up.

Paddles never match up when first mounted. After a couple of days of riding they will move around on the rims and line up by them selfs. This has happen on every set of paddles that I have owned...

when mounting them you shold always line a paddle up with the valve stem, that way they will match when put on the bike. also with straight paddles that are way off you will feel the bike wander side to side oin the rear.
