wanted to replace the front stock tires with something alittle taller???
is this a bad idea?????
GWTT
nope. I run 22" fronts and 20" rears. good for the desert and sand. for mx you want 20" fronts and 18" rears, but i run my desert setup at the track as well.

I would just do a slip-on. Ive spent too much money on full exhaust and isnt worth it unless you go full out dragster. you will need to rejet. if you dont want to spend alot of money but get some power out, remove the airbox lid, remove the cork from the stock exhaust and bump the main jet and pilot up. i wouldnt waste money on the cdi. i still run the stock cdi.

GWTT (Steve) knows A LOT about the 450.

If you take the time and money to do the exhaust... do the FULL exhaust not the slip-on! You will need to rejet and that will be dependent upon which pipe you use. The rejet is where your power comes from!

I have not messed with my electronics. I had a buddy that did his and it ended up dying in the middle of a trip! Had to swap out back to the stocker! Maybe just a fluk?

the power isn't really want i am after... so what i am lookin
for is more or less of a better sound and "a little extra power
never hurts" rule!!!
