I woke up this morning, realizing that Christmas was a few days away. I felt so excited.
I noticed the sunrise, it was so beautiful. Bright, fluffy clouds, painted orange.
It gave me reason to be glad, no, not just glad, but downright thankfully glad.
I am grateful for my existence, and even more grateful for all the wonderful people who have helped mold me into what I am. The advice, the laughs, the sharing of knowledge.
As I reflect back on the year, i pay homage to the little details as well. To Mother G, I thank you for the wonderful, no, strike that, downright blessed weather you provided during Thanksgiving week....to everyone who stopped to see if we were ok when we launched 2 buggies into the devil of them all witches eye...
to the names I don't know, but the drinks and laughs shared at Boardmanville...
To Baja, for being consistant in shoving your nose into everyones privates....
to everyone at 13.5 for the "Gathering"...
yes, I am excited that Christmas is almost here. Not for the taking, but for the giving....for the ability to put a smile on others eyes....and the kids...oh what a magical time it is.
I guess that is why I like being at the gatherings..not for the taking, but for the giving....everyone is so willing to give, to help others, to put a smile on others faces....my gift to you all, a sincere Thank You....Merry Christmas everyone....and a prosperous New Year....

I was fortunate enough to see the sunrise this morning too and was driving down the freeway having those exact same thoughts. Something about the colors of the sky today were unreal today.

It has been a wonderful year and I look forward to many more out in Glamis. I'm glad that I have met everyone I have out there and look forward to meeting the rest of you. Thanks to everyone from GD.com for taking me in!
