Ok... I'll check back later.. It's a bit confusing since the sites say they're not selling anymore.
I figure they would post some like, "Passes Available Sept 1st." .....Anyone else? Thanks.

Pretty sure I got mine from the sand show last year.
The ISDRA permits will most likely go on sale around the middle of September.
The ICSO is not selling them any longer and new vendor has been selected. The ASA will have season permits on their web site as soon as they are available.
As soon as the new vendor has the contract in place they will start signing up vendors to sell the permits and will have a web page of where they can be purchased.
Please be aware that this season the permits at the dunes will cost $120 for a season permit and $40 for a weekly permit. If the permit is purchased away from the recreation area the cost will remain the same as this season and that is $90 for a season permit and $25 for a weekly permit.
The sand show is a great place to purchase your season permit for the $90 cost.
what hurts?

I picked up mine from GD.com last season, plan on doing the same this year if they are available.

Does anyone know if they have a different permit for vehicles that are towed in that are street legal(like a jeep) for this year
I know they were pulling people over last season if you did not display a permit in your truck or 4x4 if you were in the sand.
Your only suppose to have a permit for your primary vehicle and if i tow in my jeep it will not be the primary
Just checking because i don't want to buy a 2nd pass if i don't have too

i buy mine from the asa at the sand sport super show every year, since they have been mandatory...they can also be purchased there, in glamis, when you arrive. if you arrive at night, and the booths/trailers run by the blm is closed, get up asap in the am and go purchase one, or you may find yourself with a "flag" on your windshield.

Remember the key this year is to buy your permits off site. If you wait to buy them there they will cost more. I'm sure as soon as this new vendor is up and running it will be just as easy ,if not more easy, to buy your passes in advance.

The passes will be sold at many local business (as stated at the ASA open meeting), and as stated the fees will be different between passes purchased outside the ISDRA boundries versus at the dunes.
At the ISDRA it'll be $40 for a week, and $120 for a season pass
Prior to arriving at the ISDRA it's stil $25 for a week and $90 season pass.

I just wondering......
those years when I don't get to go to the dunes much (like last year), I used to just park in front of the Beach store and hike over to Crazy Kevin's and purchase my weekly pass.
Now, I know if I purchase the pass from the machines/the new vendor when I get to the dunes it'll cost more, but, what if I hike over to Crazy Kevin's again (or any other vendor out there selling them)? Will the price be higher?
This year, I'm just gonna buy the season pass at the ASA booth at the SSSS since I'm going to be there all weekend.

If the permit is purchased at the ISDRA it will be $40 for the weekly and $120 for the season permit.
Anyone selling them at the ISDRA, be that the contractors employees or other local vendors at the ISDRA they will all be charging the increased rates.
If you purchase your permit in Brawley, Yuma or another off site location or via the web or phone system the fee is the same as this season and that is $25 for the weekly and $90 for the season permit.
As soon as the contractor has their vendors list started it will be posted on the internet where you can purchase a permit prior to arriving at the ISDRA. The contractor’s home office is in Brea, California and they will have permits there also.
If you even contemplate only going twice to the dunes next season it makes sense to purchase a season permit before you go.

What is the address/phone number and name of their office in Brea? I work in that area all the time and if I can get them there for $90 instead of $120, I am all over it.

The name of the company is WEPCitation , 1100 W. Beacon St, Brea, Ca 92821.
The contractors ISDRA program Manager is Bert Alderete.
They will not have the permits ready until sometime in early September. The front office is not up to speed on this so if you visit their office before they are ready they may not know what you are talking about if you ask to buy an ISDRA permit. Wait until an official announcement is made.
Also the concern that because this is a company that makes citation equipment that they will be issuing citations for not having a permit, this is not the case. The BLM is the responsible agency to issue citations for lack of a permit. The contractors employees will ask you to buy one if you don’t have one but if you refuse the contractor’s employees will refer you to the BLM LEO’s for any additional action.

They will be available very soon. I have setup a temporary page on our home page that says it will be available shortly.
As soon as the store gets the stock, they will notify me to put the live link on the home page so they can be purchased online.
BTW: If you purchase from the ASA for $90/yr, the ASA gets to keep 10% of that.
