Rumor has it that the ITP sandstars are the fastest tire on the Banshee.

If you're just gonna be hill shooting I'd go with the haulers. If you're going for an all around tire I'd look at the Sand Skate II's and the ITP sandstars. Personally, I'd go with the ITP's front and rear.

the sandstars seem to be significantly lighter than the gecko's. I just took gecko's off of my z400, and replaced with the sandstars. Significant improvement.

I'm runnin' the Haulers and love em went with 10" dia rim in rear and offset rims. I didn't want to install wheel spacers nor shell out the bucks for a longer axle. It hooks up real well - if you're a "fine" tuner, I heard that rim size does make a difference on the flexing of the tire - more rim less flex - stiffer side wall, less rim more flexible side wall - now with that thought think of a 35" truck tire aired at 50lbs stiff wall and now air it down to 15-20lbs flexible tire now - more traction. I used the blue label douglas rims - lighter than red - but I don't launch off huge jumps - just a duner I am! If strength is a concern and you are a frickin nut launching that quad getting "BIG" air you might want to think about those Red label rims. ok ok ok - fronts: I use the Dune Tracker with off set rims (once again not willing to tap the Beer Fund for 795.00 wider a-arms), they work well I have the 21" they look kinda balloney - for the look I wish I bought the 20". They say the larger tracks better - I put the 20" tire on my wifes and don't notice a "significant" difference. Your call on that one - I'd go with the 20". Rocky Mountain ATV is a good source - but be very specific about rim size: width, diameter, and offset. They will send you what is in stock or what their system recommends. Chaparral Motorsports in San Bernardino has a good size inventory of tires, Bert's, Hy Tech ATV in Yucaipa - all ship to you or are within a couple of hours driving time from LA/OC area. Good Luck.

Haulers 20X10X8 8 paddle ,Mohawks in the front and the only place to get them is Rocky mountain ATV
Only go /w/ this combo if you have thick skin the reason is you will hear more whinning from your friends who happen to ride behind you telling you Banshee's /w/ Haulers need to go to the back .Around the camp fire they took a survey and 18 out of 20 people said that my tires suck to ride behind .Every stop we made in the Dunes I was apollagizing to 2 people
the guy right behind me and the person right behind them for kicking up sand in what some describe as a wall of sand.

12 11 10 on 8 inch rims haulers on the rear in as many paddles as you need and for the front 21 7 mohawks all on blue label rims. 20 10 10's dont hook up at the hill. Haulers are the lightest tire out there. If you dont like racing or going fast at all then get teh sand skates II on 20 10 10's and some razors up front.
