I got a used Trinity Single carb set up and got no set-up info. How do you set the idle? I have to twist the idle screw all the way out to get it to idle. Am I missing something?

Pilot jet too big?? Needle too high?? When I got mine used, I put it on, and it ran fine...............hhhmmmm.

I'd suggest calling Trinity. There's always someone there who can answer your questions (in my experience--I know others' experience has not been as positive).

I played arounf with the pilot jet and tried leaning it out and it ran worse. It will only idle if the idle screw is all the way out. I went leaner, do I need to go richer?

Check trinitys web site under tech and there is a chart of what jets to try on the cv-2. I have t5s porting and all the other bolt ons and run 48 pilot and 180 main.
