I dunno how the hell my kids pic ended up in this post,, Oh well, it's her quad I'm re-jetting in this thread:
I loosened & rotated the carb 90 deg and removed the cap. The carb needle is below secured by a hex nut. I replaced it with a YZ performance needle.
The cap removed, eazy access to the needle.
A better look at the carb rotated and disconnected, exhaust pipe removed
Other side of quad, bottom of carb, me replaceing the pilot and main jets. The little hole on the carb just below where the screwdriver is lies the airmix screw. Proper turns, and the correct clip setting on the needle is the secret to performance tuning.
Done deal, carb re jetted/YZ needle installed/proper turns on the airmix screw/ Yoshi performance pipe installed.
I better not post more pix, it's costing Slappy money.
