What are everybodies ideas for the design ????
20 years is a huge thing, and something to be proud of!!!
One idea I had was to put the name of every customer that bought a new car from SCU on the back starting with car number 1, and list them all in oeder by year. Not sure if Don has that info though!! That would be cool!!
If the SCU family could help me get it designed I will get them made for the Party.
Let the ideas roll!! we only have 1.5 months to get it done.

Dude thats a cool thing your doing! I didem for the KIK and man talk about a big task to pull off.
FYI keep it simple 1 style but different sizes unless your up to tackling the adventure of tanks, sweats, hoodies and so on
Just an idea.. on the front pocket the number 20 with SCU incorporated and on the back an old school SCU and new design (action shot,wheelie,jumping)

As far as pics go, imo the best picture ever of an scu is that of Deanasaurus wheeling over a hill with a fantastic view of g in the back ground. Its framed on my wall, long before I met Deano. Not sure where the pic is, Referman took it.

MIKE330r I had the same thought. One time Don told me he still kept in touch with the guy who had car #1, I think he lived in Havasu. That would be cool to have the first one on the front and a new one on the back. Or better yet a picture of Don with one of his early cars in the late 80's, with mullet, Oakley blades, etc.
It would also be cool if that car could end up at the party in October.

This is the pic I am talking about its Deanasaurus in his little bro nearly killing Referman the photographer in the process. Its a great shot, rear wheels are off the ground in the wheelie and you can see pretty much all of G in the background. I cut / pasted it from his avatar but he will be back from vacation by tomorrow and can get you the full jpg.

Sounds good! I don't know about cartoon or real? Don loves that light ash grey color but see it the grey cars looks good against it.

What about the SCU logo dead center on the front of the shirts slightly modified to have 20yrs. in the logo maybe coming off the upper side of the logo in a different font then the SCU logo.
And on the back maybe a few different cars thru the years animated always looks better than real pics (IMO) and have them playing in the dunes. You could also have some comments written either on the flags of the cars or in the dunes about some of the special moments for SCU like winning BAJA, winning the Sand Car Challenge back-to-back and maybe winning the Sand Car Shootout but I don't know if we will find out in time on that before the shirts have to go to print.....
