My 2D sounds like the bearings are going to come out of it after the car has run for 30 min or so.
I used the synthetic and regular gear lube and either makes no difference.
A bit of history the trans came out of the car after 1 trip sent the gears back to weddle and they said they were melted.
New main and 1,2 gears new bearings and the thing sounds like it's ready to grenade, I was told by the builder that it is normal, I have driven several cars with 2D's and they don't sound like mine, it's a rattly grow noise sounds awful.
My car weighs 1600lb with a stock honda 3.5 l running 33 paddles.

sounds like main shaft bearing, but the 2d is a noisy gearbox tho. does the noise come and go according to pushing the clutch in and out?
is it worse in second and does the sound increase as you increase your speed ?
