We give money to the ASA, CORVA, and SDORC to help the fight to keep the dunes open. The groups help by staffing a check point each year. It is great fun and is not a timed event.

It's a great day to get it all done!
Register for the Poker Run, start your loop so you can swing by the Flag Pole for the ceremonies, then continue back around to finish off the checkpoints to end up at Boardmanville by 2pm for the raffle and prizes to be back to the Compound for the potluck and bday celebrations!
It doesn't get better than that!!

Hello all!
We are coming down from British Columbia, Canada and are planning on being at Glamis for the Veterans day poker Run. Wondering if someone could give us some 'idiot proof' directions to the camping area. Also, we need to stop somewhere along the way to get the proper safety flags, and permits(if required)for our bikes. Hope to see you all there and make some new friends. Look for us. We'll put up a Canadian flag on our trailer. Mark & Jenn.

WOW…what a turn out!! Much better then expected. Considering the economy, we were not hoping for much.
Weather was awesome, maybe a little hot, but couldn’t have asked for better.
We sold out of Poker Hands, had to use a few from last year. Crowd was very supportive.
Winning hand was a straight flush.
Gosh, so many people to thank, I’m sure I’m going to miss some, so apologies in advance….
Mid Cities Honda…for the First Place Generator. Thank you so MUCH.
Lazar Star for Second Place (HD Lights)
FunRunner for Third (E-Z up)
OMF for fourth (Garage Stool)
Warner’s Exhaust (for a lot of very nice prizes)
Can’t list all the businesses/sponsors here, but will get them up on our web site.
Special thanks to the GD.com crew. Your support is always appreciated. I think you guys bring out the largest, single block of people and have been there for us every year. It matters and makes a difference.
Thanks to the Check Points:
Vicky C. ( a family of 4) ---SDORC
Darren and Katherine K.---CORVA
Eric and Letty N.------------ASA
Our AZ connection:
John P.-----I think we’ll do even better next year. Thank you.
Papa Perry----Good stuff!!! (also a thank you to Zippy and her 'friend')
A HUGE thank you to my OCATV crew:
D.L. and Lynn S.
Dave and Julie G.
George and Julie S.
Greg D.
Dan G.
Dave A., Brittany and Alex
Dave and Dina B.
Bryan and Michelle G.
Cheryl and Larry H.
Mike and Arlene B.
Rick C.
Ty and Michelle T.
Tami F.
Jim W.
and of course, Mrs. L&L, who made the T-Shirts happen, + a bunch of other things and puts up with me all year long.
We don’t have all the expenses added up yet, but I think we’ll be able to give more to ASA, CORVA and SDORC then we did last year.
