Anybody run these tires? And where in so cal or san diego can I pick some up?
Kevin
im sure you could get a deal at the sandsport show in a couple weeks. both fullerton sand sports and sand tire unlimited should be there
Robbie
better get there early too.
Last year they ran out of some tire types early.

I had the 10.50 x17 razors and went to the new 1250 x 17 master razors and all I can say is WOW what a tire. Large and in charge. Rides better, turns better, looks better, and gets lots of comments about them. Call fullertons and pay for them and pick them up at the show. shipping on those are like 100 buck each, better if u can pick them up.
Kevin
im getting mine friday of the show icon_biggrin.gif

How much were they if you dont mind me asking? I think ill look at getting some at the show also beer.gif
HI turtle
Like others said, the SSSS will have good deals on tires. I think these tires are the way to go if your running STU 35.5 or extreme 38. I think Johnbishop posted about these for his buggy.
woodster
I run the 35.5's so these tires seem to be a perfect match.
Kevin
when i talked to joe? at fullerton sandsports i think he asid they were 300 somthing a tire, but i cant really remeber.
socaldmax
IIRC, when I was shopping for them, Kartek had the best price, about $275 ea.

In the Sand Sports magazine, Fullerton has them for $326.

i second blubyu .... and yes : they are THE perfect match for the 39" rears (35.5ers)

i love the beefy look .... and they handle like a dream...but the aggressive "bite" can also get you in trouble quickly if you dont pay attention icon_wink.gif

btw as a side note: make sure your front suspension/ spindle/ steering can deal with the extra mass of this L A R G E tire (may check with your builder)

Woodster, they are amazing, pay whatever it takes to get them on ur car. 50% better than what u have now.
A-Dare
Darren, did you check Daryl Smiths in Spring Valley?
woodster

Hey Kevin
I don't know if you are running the same arm's that I have, but those tires are much taller than the STU 10.50 razors that i'm running. They rub on the arm at full turn.

What kind of rack do you have? Howe can shim your rack for you so they wont rub.

I'm not sure what rack I have but if I can shim it I would love to run the masters.

too big, too much leverage on front end parts, no worky as good... imo... my car had big azz tires when i got it and the car was so much better off without them. way easier on front end parts and heims too
woodster
I already run 36" shaved swampers on mine and they are pretty heavy. I figured these tires would be a bit lighter.
Punisher550
lighter is more betta...
