Well I was going to get this in for August, but I guess I was a little too slow!


I want to nominate Mike and Joyce for all the generosity and hospitality they ALWAYS offer for GD.com folks. Many, many a party at the "Resort" (their house), they always welcome the GD.com family with open arms and many times have helped out folks that needed a place to stay if they were in town. We love going to visit them, they always have a big hug and a smile waiting for their guests! They enjoy the kids coming up, and Angel "Cannonball" Dixon forever diving into the pool. There have been a few times with very short notice that they have been asked to host a little get together and have said SURE! Even when life is squashing down on me, I love going up to their beautiful home and visiting with them, never fails to make me a much happier person! In the dunes, they always will lend a hand if anyone needs it. They are very special friends, I believe that I am damn lucky to have them in our lives and I appreciate them so very much! I also want to mention a big thanks to their neighbors, Brad and Jeannie, who are great people too! Special thanks to them for letting the kids come over and visit their beautiful horses and teach the kids about "farm life". You guys are wonderful, and every time we go out to Mike and Joyce's I look forward to visiting with y'all.

So I nominate Mike and Joyce for ALWAYS helping out the GD.com family, and for being true duners...both in and out of the sand!

I want to nominate MRS.BEAR DOWN, Monica!

As some of you know things went from bad to worse and I left my husband. I didnt have any money saved and my first check went to moving into my new apartment. I have nothing expect for a couple chairs and a matress, my mom got me a fridge. So Monica has been nice enough to give me a couch, entertainment unit and dishes. She has been working hard on finding someone to help drive it to the sand show for me to pick it all up from there. She is such a sweetheart. Plus she did all of this after using a mover that I told her about for her own move and there was damage done to her stuff, she is still helping me. She completely has the glamisdunes.com family spirit and wouldnt take money, and said once Im done pass it on to someone else who needs it (pay it forward).
I want to Thank her by nominating her for Sept. Duner of the Month. As well as Glamis4x4B1tch who sent me a Target Gift card in the mail to help me buy some much needed items for the apartment.
