Each year we pack up the kids and the trailer and camp at San Aliso off of Cardiff state beach.. Its a fun time and a great adventure for the kids. My wife has been doing this with her family since she was a little girl. This is all about to take a change for the worse.. Currently we pay 19 a day with no hookups. That will now become 30-40 a day. 
ALSO each year I buy a season day use pass for 67. This allows us surf bums access to the beach parking lots the state controls. Else we pay 4.00 a day to park or walk a mile. The new Day use fee will increase upwards maxing out at 14 a day and the season pass will max out at 125.
Man, it sure it getting expensive to enjoy a day at the beach..
I guess its a good thing that Glamis is Federal Land cause that would mean that fees there would double in 2004 also.. OH WAIT.. that already happened.. http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/state/2...9_1n31fees.html
