Needed to install pin box hitch with no one around thought I would try this.

Then I just moved the trailer up and down to line up the back holes and the jack to line up the front.

That was pretty creative, but I bet it was a bit scary at first!

Did you try lowering the front landing gear? How low would have that set ya?

Very nice, let us know what you think about it after you try it out.
Where did you end up getting it and what model did you get?

Yeap, turns sideways so you can use it with a shortbed truck. Puts the pivot point under the trailer instead of in your truck bed. It's cheaper then an auto slider and has an adjustable airbag system to reduce chucking....I've had it for two trips now and love it. Did the install myself too....jack in the back of the truck. That bitch was heavy. Found it for around $1,500 on the net. People also say the 5th wheel tracks better....I don't know, never pulled a 5th wheel without this.

For a minute I didnt think I was going to pull it off, due to the bed liner was so slippery.

I like the way it tows little hard to get the hang of hooking up the trailer, I think the air bag takes some of the shock so you have to get a small run at hooking it up, I live at the end of the street so with the old hitch I could no get the truck turner tight enough, this move the swivel point back about 2 feet and allows for you to get in a negative turn, it is so easy to make a u turn and a lot easier to put to bed, My favorite part is the air ride in the front of the pin box, you see the trailer move up and down with the bumps but you dont feel a thing in the truck, I found this on craigslist for $500.00 I have see some more for bout $700 on a google search, I think it was another craigslist site,
